IN THE WHITE HOUSE
WHITE HOUSE VISITORS OFFICE
I am honored to have had 2 of my paintings hang in the White House Visitors Office from January 2021 until January 2025. The WHVO is part of the Office of the First Lady and was in the East Wing. The WHVO is responsible for welcoming over one million visitors and special guests to the White House, as well as producing all large-scale public events such as the White House Easter Egg Roll, Fourth of July Picnic and Fireworks Watch Party, special concerts, and design and implementation of the annual Holidays at the White House. I was honored by to serve as a volunteer holiday season decorator in 2021, 2022, and 2024. I also volunteered at the White House Easter Egg Roll.
The Soul of the Nation, inspired by Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign, depicts a clear glossy Statue of Liberty over the US flag and people of all walks of life.
